Four people face drug and weapons allegations after a multi-agency narcotics raid at a home near Haysville on Aug. 27.

Deputies with the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office led the operation, executing a search warrant at about 7 a.m. at a home in the 9200 block of South Pattie. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI), the Wichita Police Department SWAT Team and the Kansas Highway Patrol Air Support Unit all assisted, according to a sheriff's office press release.

The sheriff's office said the SWAT team was called in because of the violent histories of people known to frequent the home.

All four people arrested were booked into the Sedgwick County Adult Detention Facility. The allegations listed below are booking charges, not formal charges filed by prosecutors.

A 65-year-old man listed as a resident of the home was booked on allegations of distribution of narcotics, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. A 30-year-old Wichita man was booked on an allegation of possession of a firearm by a felon, along with a misdemeanor bench warrant. A bench warrant is issued when a person fails to appear in court.

A 43-year-old Wichita woman was arrested on a felony drug warrant. A 41-year-old Newton man was arrested on a misdemeanor bench warrant.

The sheriff's office press release described the home as "near Haysville." The Wichita Eagle placed it south of Haysville. The exact jurisdiction, whether incorporated Haysville or unincorporated Sedgwick County, was not specified in either account.

The sheriff's office did not disclose what type or quantity of narcotics were recovered during the search.

Investigators plan to present the case to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's Office for formal charging consideration, the sheriff's office said. No date for that review has been announced.
